Former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore lists Ann Arbor home for $1.7 million
Ex-Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore has put his Ann Arbor residence on the market for $1.7 million as he and his family seek to move after his dismissal and legal case.
Sherrone Moore, who was dismissed as head coach of the Michigan Wolverines following an affair with an executive assistant, has listed his Ann Arbor home for $1.7 million, according to Realtor.com. The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom property on Walnut Ridge Drive sits on about half an acre and is roughly a 15-minute drive from the university. It was last sold for $1.3 million in 2023.
Moore had previously served on Jim Harbaugh’s staff as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, and acted as head coach for one game during Harbaugh’s suspension before being promoted after Harbaugh left for the Los Angeles Chargers.
After his termination, Moore pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges related to the affair and was sentenced to 18 months of probation, a fine of just over $1,000, and requirements for mental-health treatment, abstaining from alcohol, marijuana, and weapons, and no contact with the alleged victim.
"There is a certain irony in a lot of this – the person quite frankly, Mr. Moore, who is saving you from the full wrath of this court is the one you betrayed," Judge Cedric Simpson said during sentencing.
Moore’s wife, Kelli, attended the court hearing and submitted a letter requesting leniency. The family is now looking to sell the home and relocate, though no destination has been announced.
During his two seasons as Michigan’s head coach, Moore compiled a 16-8 record, including an 8-5 first season and a 7-3 second season, and missed two games due to a suspension linked to a sign-stealing investigation.
