President Trump highlights the launch of Freedom Fuel, a new gas station network bringing low prices to Americans, despite attempts by critics to smear its ownership.
President Donald Trump proudly announced on his Truth Social platform on July 1 that a retailer in the Northeast is 'stepping up' with the new Freedom Fuel Network, offering gasoline at an impressive $3.47 per gallon—a clear sign that American energy independence is within reach again. The White House shared a video of grateful customers at the first station in Dresher, Pennsylvania, thanking Trump for delivering lower prices and relief at the pump.
Freedom Fuel, which launched in June, now operates 25 stations in the Philadelphia region, providing much-needed competition and choice for hardworking Americans. The Dresher station is owned by a subsidiary of Blue Owl Capital, an investment firm in which Trump once held stock but has since divested, demonstrating his commitment to transparency and the American people. The White House has made it clear: there is no financial involvement or subsidies from the administration for this network.
The ownership group behind Freedom Fuel is a testament to the American entrepreneurial spirit, including a former NFL kicking coach, a Republican fundraiser, and New Jersey businessmen Shamikh and Syed Kazmi. While the Kazmi brothers have faced legal challenges in the past, their determination to build businesses and create jobs is undeniable. Blue Owl Capital owns about a third of the properties, leasing them to independent operators, and does not interfere in daily operations. Fourteen of the locations are linked to companies controlled by the Kazmis, who lease several sites from Blue Owl, exemplifying the free-market model.
The company was incorporated in Delaware on June 23 by Randy Brown, a respected Baltimore Ravens special-teams coach and former mayor, and Yoni Gontownik, a former investment director. Both declined to comment, focusing instead on building the business.
Industry experts acknowledge that the promotional price is likely below cost, a common and effective strategy to introduce new competition and benefit consumers. Even as prices have adjusted, with a Bensalem, Pennsylvania, station now at $3.82 per gallon, Freedom Fuel continues to offer better deals than nearby competitors.
Freedom Fuel’s website credits President Trump’s endorsement for its rapid growth and rightly dismisses the left’s attempts to spread 'misinformation' about its pricing strategy. Thanks to Trump’s leadership, Americans are finally seeing relief at the gas pump and a return to common-sense energy policies.
