JAST USA Announces English Voice Cast for School Days Remastered

Summary

JAST USA revealed the English voice actors for the upcoming Windows PC release of Overflow's School Days Remastered, which will also include Chinese language support.

JAST USA disclosed the English voice cast for the remastered version of Overflow's 2005 visual novel School Days during Anime Expo. The announced actors include Katelyn Barr as Kotonoha Katsura, Brittany Lauda as Sekai Saionji, and P.M. Seymour as Makoto Itou, among others covering the full roster of characters.

The release will support both English and Chinese languages and is slated for Windows PC. School Days originally launched in Japan in 2005 and later inspired a 12-episode anime series in 2007, followed by two OVA spin-offs in 2008.

"The game will feature English and Chinese language support," the press release stated.

The original title gained notoriety after its final televised episode was replaced with unrelated footage due to a real-life incident, leading to the "nice boat" meme among anime fans. JAST USA previously announced an English release of the high-quality version in 2011, which was delayed to 2012. The developer Stack later released a spinoff, Island Days, for the Nintendo 3DS in 2014.
