Destiny 2 offers limited-time Alchemy Scorch shader until July 7
Players can obtain the Alchemy Scorch shader from NPC Ada-1 for 10,000 Glimmer, but it will be removed from the inventory after the Tuesday reset on July 7.
Bungie announced that the Alchemy Scorch shader, previously listed in the game’s data but never released, will be sold by the Tower NPC Ada-1 for 10,000 Glimmer. The shader will be available only until the weekly inventory reset on Tuesday, July 7, after which it may not reappear for an extended period. > "Players can get the shader for just 10,000 Glimmer," a player reported on Twitter. The offer comes as part of the post-Monument of Triumph updates, which also include a forthcoming hotfix to address lingering issues. Two armor sets are being permanently disabled due to Crucible balance problems, and Bungie indicated limited resources for future support. The Alchemy Scorch shader, originally datamined six years ago as a Festival of the Lost drop, is the only known method to obtain it, as it is not offered through Bright Dust or other standard channels. Players are advised to check Ada-1’s inventory before the July 7 deadline.
