Country singer Jon Pardi and wife Summer announce divorce after five years of marriage
Jon Pardi and his wife Summer confirmed they are ending their marriage, saying they will prioritize their two young daughters and co-parent with love and respect.
Country singer Jon Pardi, 41, and his wife Summer, 37, said on Friday, July 3, that they are filing for divorce after five years of marriage. The couple, who have two daughters — Presley Fawn, 3, and Sienna Grace, 2 — posted a joint statement on Instagram stating, > "After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. Our daughters will always remain our highest priority and we are committed to moving forward with love and respect as co-parents." They added gratitude for public understanding and support.
Pardi noted on his Instagram Stories that he would be stepping back from social media to focus on himself and his family, and that his team would handle posting for the time being. The announcement came while he is on his Honkytonk Hollywood tour, which runs through December. Summer shared a brief video of her children earlier in the day before the news broke.
Representatives for both parties did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The couple met in May 2017 through a blind date and were married in 2020 after a proposal during Pardi's Heartache Medication tour.
