Amanda Batula exits 'Summer House' after relationship with West Wilson disclosed
Amanda Batula will not appear in the upcoming season of Bravo's 'Summer House' following the public confirmation of her romance with fellow cast member West Wilson.
Amanda Batula will not return to Bravo's reality series "Summer House" for its 11th season, Variety and Deadline reported on Monday, June 29. The decision follows the public announcement of her relationship with castmate West Wilson, which was disclosed in a March 31 social-media post.
Wilson, who previously dated fellow housemate Ciara Miller, confirmed earlier that he would not be back for the next installment. Batula, who announced her separation from husband Kyle Cooke in January, had denied any romantic involvement with Wilson until the joint statement.
During the series reunion, Wilson and Batula offered only a vague timeline for their relationship, prompting further speculation among the cast. Cast member Lindsay Hubbard suggested the pairing might not endure, while Miller expressed a more supportive view, stating she believed Batula could be a good match for Wilson.
Batula, a main cast member since season two, also appears on the spin-off "In The City," which documented her marital challenges. Wilson joined the show in season eight and had previously dated Miller, ending that relationship in December 2023.
Hubbard later posted on Threads that she expects friends to demonstrate integrity and better decision-making, implying that Batula's actions had strained their friendship. The tension between the two was evident in a post-reunion sit-down discussion.
Bravo has not issued an official comment on Batula's departure, and her representatives were not reached for comment.
