Samsung lists Galaxy S27 Pro among four upcoming S27 models

Summary

Samsung's filings in the GSMA database confirm a Galaxy S27 Pro model, joining three other S27 variants slated for release early next year.

Samsung has added the name Galaxy S27 Pro to its roster of upcoming devices, according to entries in the GSMA database. The filing lists three unannounced phones with model numbers SM-S956U, SM-S957B/DS and SM-S958U, identified respectively as the Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. An earlier entry for SM-S952U was labeled Galaxy S27, suggesting a four-model lineup for the series.

Analysts expect the S27 Pro to share many specifications with the S27 Ultra but in a more compact form, featuring a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and no S Pen. Reported hardware includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro for Galaxy processor, at least 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of UFS 5.0 storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, and a camera array comprising a 12 MP front sensor, a 200 MP main rear sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide lens with autofocus and a 50 MP telephoto lens offering 3.5× optical zoom.

The filings indicate Samsung may also introduce a Galaxy S27 FE later in 2027.
