Early Prime Day Discounts Highlighted Across Major Retailers
Wirecutter has identified a selection of early Prime Day offers from Amazon and competing stores, covering electronics, home goods and personal care items.
Prime Day 2026 is set for June 23, and several retailers have already begun lowering prices on a range of products. Wirecutter compiled a list of early discounts that meet its testing standards, noting that not all promotions provide sufficient value.
The list includes over-ear headphones priced at $150 on eBay, down from $300, and Apple earbuds available for $170 at Amazon and Walmart, a $60 reduction from the regular price. A slim iPhone case is offered for $16 on Amazon, while a 55-inch 4K TV can be found for $448 at Amazon, compared with higher prices at Costco and other stores.
In the home category, a hybrid mattress is listed at $424 from Siena, and an Echo smart speaker with a display is $45 off its $70 list price on Amazon. An air purifier that Wirecutter has recommended since 2015 is selling for $150 at Amazon, and a tower fan is $210 on the same site.
Personal-care selections feature a La Roche-Posay cleanser for $16 on Amazon and Sephora, a Korean moisturizer for $26 at both retailers, and a hair oil for $50 at Kerastase. Several shampoos and conditioners are highlighted with prices ranging from $16 to $54 across Sephora, Ulta and Nordstrom.
Kitchen appliances include a combo air-fryer oven for $320 at Amazon, Target and Best Buy, and an espresso machine for $750 on Amazon and other outlets. A non-stick pan is $26 on Amazon, while a set of mini prep bowls sells for $16 on the same platform.
Other categories feature a smart outlet for $30 at Amazon, a budget smart thermostat for $58, a bidet seat for $562, and a pet feeder for $84 on Amazon. Travel accessories such as a one-handed water bottle are $28 on Amazon and $36 at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Wirecutter advises shoppers to verify current availability and pricing, as some deals may have changed since publication.
