West Wilson to Depart Bravo's Summer House After Three Seasons

West Wilson, a sports journalist who joined Bravo's reality series Summer House in its eighth season, will not appear in the upcoming filming cycle, a source familiar with the production confirmed. The series typically begins shooting around the fourth of July weekend.

Wilson's exit follows a series of personal entanglements that have drawn attention within the show. He was reported to have begun a relationship with co-star Amanda Batula after her separation from fellow cast member Kyle Cooke, a development that also involved former girlfriend and cast member Ciara Miller. Miller and Wilson had previously rekindled a friendship after ending their romantic involvement, but the subsequent dynamics created tension among the cast.

During the latest season, Wilson discussed the NBA championship on his podcast, suggesting that a Game 5 loss for the Knicks would extend the series, a comment he linked to anticipated viewership for Bravo's bonus episode "Summer House: The Aftermath," which focuses on the fallout from the scandal.

Industry observers note that Wilson's presence contributed to the show's portrayal of a group of young adults socializing in the Hamptons each summer. His relationships with Miller and Batula have been documented in media coverage, including a New York Times piece that highlighted inconsistencies in his public persona.

The departure marks the end of Wilson's three-year tenure on the series, which has featured multiple seasons of evolving interpersonal storylines among its cast.
