A comprehensive Civiqs rolling online poll of 110,353 registered voters, conducted between Jan. 20, 2025 and June 11, 2026, paints a stark picture for President Donald Trump as he turns 80. Approval for Trump has slipped in every state, underscoring the public’s growing discontent with his regressive policies and divisive leadership. Nationally, only 36% of respondents approve of Trump’s performance, while an overwhelming 59% disapprove, leaving his presidency deeply underwater.

While the state-by-state map still reflects entrenched partisan divides, even Trump’s strongholds are eroding. Wyoming, the reddest state, now gives him a net approval of +25, a dramatic fall from +47 at the start of his term. Other conservative bastions like North Dakota (+15), South Dakota (+14), and West Virginia (+13) remain positive but have seen their support for Trump nearly halved.

Meanwhile, states that once reluctantly backed Trump have turned against him. Florida, once +9, now sits at –13; Ohio has swung from +8 to –14; and Nevada has dropped from even to –20. Key battlegrounds such as Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Georgia now register double-digit negative net approvals, signaling a broad rejection of Trump’s reactionary agenda.

The demographic breakdown is even more damning: among adults aged 18-34, only 21% approve while 72% disapprove, reflecting young voters’ overwhelming rejection of Trump’s backward-looking policies. Independents (28% approve, 64% disapprove) and women (30% approve, 65% disapprove) also show deep disapproval. Post-graduates are particularly critical, with just 25% approving and 71% disapproving, while non-college graduates are only slightly less negative.

Despite these grim numbers, the White House clings to the 2024 election as a supposed mandate. “The ultimate poll was November 5, 2024,” spokesperson Davis Ingle claimed, insisting Trump is delivering on a ‘popular’ agenda—an assertion starkly contradicted by the data.

The poll makes clear that while partisan divides persist, Trump’s support is eroding everywhere, turning many battleground states into prime opportunities for progressives in the next election cycle.
