Hezbollah Drone Attack in Rosh Hanikra Injures Three Civilians
An explosive drone launched by Hezbollah struck Rosh Hanikra, injuring three civilians and prompting Israeli military response.
An explosive drone launched by Hezbollah struck the Rosh Hanikra area near the Israel-Lebanon border on Thursday, injuring three civilians. Two individuals sustained serious injuries, while a third was lightly wounded. All were transported to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for treatment.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the drone was launched by Hezbollah, describing the incident as "a blatant violation" of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and the Iran-backed group.
In response, the IDF conducted airstrikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon, including weapons storage facilities and operational sites.
This escalation occurs amid ongoing tensions, with both sides exchanging attacks despite a ceasefire brokered on April 17. Direct talks between Lebanon and Israel are scheduled to take place in Washington, aiming to address the recent surge in hostilities.
