Singer D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke, has been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Prosecutors allege that Burke, 21, began sexually abusing Rivas Hernandez when she was 13 and killed her in April 2025 to prevent her from exposing their relationship.

Rivas Hernandez was reported missing in April 2024 after leaving her Riverside home to visit Burke's Hollywood residence. Her dismembered and decomposed body was discovered in September 2025 inside a Tesla registered to Burke.
