Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Expansion Introduces New Classes and Enhanced Endgame Features

Summary

The latest expansion for Diablo 4, 'Lord of Hatred,' brings two new classes, an engaging campaign, and significant endgame enhancements.

Blizzard Entertainment's latest expansion for Diablo 4, 'Lord of Hatred,' introduces players to the Skovos Isles, a region plagued by Mephisto's influence. The expansion continues the narrative from 'Vessel of Hatred,' focusing on the player's mission to thwart Mephisto's plans.

Players can now choose between two new classes: the Paladin, a holy warrior returning from previous Diablo titles, and the Warlock, a summoner who commands demonic entities. The Warlock class offers diverse playstyles, allowing players to summon various demons and utilize dark magic.

The expansion also introduces the Talisman system, enabling players to attach charms to a central seal for bonus stats or affixes. Additionally, the Horadric Cube returns, allowing for the assembly of new charms and runes, as well as the modification of existing gear.

Endgame content has been expanded with the introduction of War Plans, a system where players select and modify endgame activities to earn targeted rewards. This includes the Echoing Hatred, a challenging gauntlet of enemies designed to test players' builds.

'Lord of Hatred' is set to release on April 28, 2026, and aims to provide a comprehensive and engaging experience for both new and returning players.
