President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the impact of these unmanned systems, revealing that over 22,000 missions have been conducted in the past three months alone. He noted that each mission represents a life saved, as robots are deployed into the most hazardous areas instead of human soldiers.

The Ukrainian military's focus on unmanned systems has been further intensified with the appointment of Mykhailo Fedorov as defense minister. Fedorov, previously the minister of digital transformation, has introduced a war plan that heavily emphasizes technology and data. This strategy involves collaboration with numerous companies on drone development and production initiatives, aiming to use data and technology to identify and intercept aerial threats in real time and create a "kill zone" along the front line where drones and robots operate continuously.

Analysts suggest that Ukraine's advancements in drone and robotic warfare are contributing to the stalling of Russian advances and facilitating Ukrainian counterattacks. The Institute for the Study of War assessed that Ukraine's mid-range strike campaign has allowed Kyiv to regain the upper hand, though the challenge remains to stay ahead as Russia responds.

Ukraine's expertise in drone warfare is also attracting international attention. President Zelensky has engaged with Middle Eastern countries, offering to share Ukraine's experience in exchange for support, including resources like missiles for air defenses. Reflecting on the rapid technological advancements, Zinkevych remarked that what once seemed like science fiction is now a reality. He advocates for the accelerated development and large-scale implementation of robotic ground systems on the battlefield, emphasizing that human life is priceless, whereas robots do not bleed.
