Apple's forthcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max is anticipated to retain the design of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with the primary enhancement being a larger battery capacity.
According to reports, the device will feature a battery ranging from 5,100 to 5,200 mAh, surpassing the 5,088 mAh capacity of the current model.
This increase, combined with the efficiency of the new A20 Pro chip, is expected to provide over 40 hours of battery life.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is projected to launch in September 2026, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Apple's first foldable iPhone.
