Behaviour Interactive Confirms No Plans for Dead by Daylight Sequel
Behaviour Interactive commits to ongoing support and expansion of Dead by Daylight, ruling out the development of a sequel.
Behaviour Interactive has confirmed that it has no plans to develop a sequel to its popular asymmetrical horror game, Dead by Daylight. Instead, the studio is dedicated to continuously supporting and expanding the existing game.
In a recent interview, Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships at Behaviour Interactive, stated, "We want to focus on our core game and continue to expand. Dead by Daylight is not going anywhere; there's still so many stories to tell, and so there's no reason for us to start a new one."
Creative Director Dave Richard echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the team's commitment to the current game. He noted that Dead by Daylight was designed to be a long-term project, with ongoing updates and support to keep the game fresh and engaging for players.
This approach aligns with Behaviour Interactive's strategy to maintain and enhance Dead by Daylight through regular content updates, collaborations, and quality-of-life improvements, ensuring the game remains relevant and enjoyable for its community.
