Crew-12 Arrives at International Space Station After Successful SpaceX Launch
Four astronauts from NASA, ESA, and Roscosmos have docked at the ISS, restoring its full crew capacity following a medical evacuation.
On February 14, 2026, four astronauts successfully docked at the International Space Station (ISS), restoring its full crew capacity following a recent medical evacuation. The Crew-12 mission, comprising NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev, launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on February 13.
Upon docking, Commander Jessica Meir emphasized the significance of international cooperation in space exploration.
The Crew-12 team is set for an eight-month mission, during which they will conduct various scientific experiments and technology demonstrations aboard the ISS. This mission follows the early return of Crew-11 in January due to a medical issue, marking the first medical evacuation in the station's history.
The ISS, orbiting approximately 250 miles above Earth, has been continuously inhabited for over 25 years. The Crew-12 mission underscores the ongoing collaboration among international space agencies in maintaining and utilizing this vital research platform.
