Applications Open for 2027 Australia Awards Scholarships in Solomon Islands

The Australian Government has announced the opening of applications for the 2027 Australia Awards Scholarships, inviting Solomon Islanders to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Australia. Applications are accepted from February 1 to April 30, 2026, with studies commencing in 2027.

These scholarships aim to develop future leaders who can contribute to the inclusive development and positive change in Solomon Islands. The program encourages applications from both women and men, emphasizing fields such as infrastructure, economic growth, governance, health, and education.

In addition to the Australia Awards Scholarships, the Australian Government offers the Australia Skills Award Scholarships for 2026. This initiative enables Solomon Islanders to study at selected Rural Training Centres across the country, covering course fees and providing Personal Protective Equipment. Applications for these scholarships are currently open, with awards to be granted this month.
