On Saturday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs. 25,500, settling at Rs. 511,862, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 21,862 to Rs. 438,839. This follows a previous drop of Rs. 35,500 per tola on Friday, bringing the two-day total decrease to Rs. 61,000. In the international market, gold prices fell by $255 to $4,895 per ounce. Silver prices also declined, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs. 2,063 to Rs. 9,006. Analysts attribute these sharp declines to profit-taking by investors amid changing global economic conditions.
