National University held its 3rd Founder's Cup Golf Tournament at Tagaytay Midlands, uniting alumni and partners to support over 10,000 scholars.
National University recently held its 3rd Founder's Cup Golf Tournament at Tagaytay Midlands, marking the institution's 125th anniversary. The event aimed to strengthen support for over 10,000 Filipino scholars and advance educational opportunities for future generations.
"More than a golf tournament, we once again championed this meaningful initiative, bringing together the biggest number of players and sponsors driven by NU's commitment to education that works," said NU President and CEO, Dr. Renato Carlos H. Ermita, Jr.
The tournament brought together distinguished alumni, employees, media, institutional partners, and benefactors to foster a community of shared purpose and camaraderie. Leading the ceremonial tee-off were NU Chairman of the Board Dr. Hans T. Sy, Dr. Ermita, McCoy co-founder Harry van Helvoirt, and NU alumnus and DATEM founder, Ar. Arnold De Asis. Notable attendees included government officials Hon. Edwin Olivarez, Sr., and Hon. Nicanor Briones, showbiz personality Richard Yap, and NU alumni athletes, Engineers Dave and Patrick Yu.
The event was co-presented by McCoy, BOYSEN, adidas, and Gransportivo.
