Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus to Feature Minimal Design Changes and Retain Existing Display
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is expected to closely resemble its predecessor, maintaining the same display specifications and design elements.
Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy S26 Plus is anticipated to enter mass production later this month, with an official launch slated for late February. Industry sources indicate that the device will retain the 6.66-inch screen size of its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Plus.
Initially, Samsung considered upgrading the S26 Plus's display to a more advanced OLED panel developed for the Galaxy S26 Edge. However, due to time constraints, the company decided to proceed with the existing display specifications.
The Galaxy S26 Plus is expected to be powered by either the Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, depending on the region.
In contrast, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to feature a new Samsung M14 OLED panel, offering reduced power consumption and hardware-based privacy features.
Samsung plans to produce approximately 3.6 million units of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, significantly more than the 700,000 and 600,000 units planned for the base and Plus variants, respectively.
