Clicks Communicator and Samsung Galaxy S26 to Feature Qi2 Wireless Charging

The Clicks Communicator, a new Android smartphone with a physical keyboard, is set to support Qi2 wireless charging technology. This device, reminiscent of BlackBerry-style phones, features a custom, message-focused launcher and interchangeable backplates. Despite the modular design, Clicks has confirmed that the Communicator will maintain proper Qi2 support.

In addition, Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy S26 series is expected to integrate Qi2 wireless charging natively. Unlike previous models that required special cases for Qi2 compatibility, the Galaxy S26 is anticipated to include built-in magnets, facilitating seamless magnetic wireless charging. Reports suggest that Samsung will also release a 25W Qi2 wireless charger, enhancing the charging experience for the new series.

These developments indicate a broader adoption of Qi2 technology in the Android ecosystem, offering users improved wireless charging capabilities and accessory compatibility.
