Vince Zampella, a prominent figure in the video game industry and co-creator of the 'Call of Duty' franchise, has died at the age of 55. Electronic Arts (EA) announced his passing on Monday, stating that Zampella died on Sunday. The company did not disclose the cause of death.
According to reports, Zampella was involved in a single-vehicle crash on the Angeles Crest Highway in Southern California. The California Highway Patrol responded to the incident around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, where the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a concrete barrier. Both the driver and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
