iPhone 18 Pro Max Expected to Be Apple's Heaviest Model Yet
Leaked information suggests the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max will surpass 240 grams, making it the heaviest iPhone to date.
Apple's forthcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max is anticipated to be the company's heaviest smartphone to date, according to recent leaks. The device is expected to weigh over 240 grams, surpassing the 233-gram iPhone 17 Pro Max and the 240-gram iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The increased weight is attributed to a slightly thicker design, potentially accommodating a larger battery. This design choice aligns with consumer preferences for enhanced battery life, as evidenced by the strong sales of the thicker iPhone 17 Pro models compared to the thinner iPhone Air.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to maintain a 6.9-inch display, consistent with its predecessor. Additional hardware upgrades, such as a new vapor chamber cooling system and camera enhancements, may also contribute to the increased weight.
Apple has not officially commented on these reports. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is anticipated to launch in the fall of 2026.
