Britney Spears Denies Allegations in Kevin Federline's Upcoming Memoir
Britney Spears refutes claims made by ex-husband Kevin Federline in his forthcoming memoir, emphasizing her commitment to her sons.
Britney Spears has publicly refuted allegations made by her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, in his forthcoming memoir, "You Thought You Knew." The book, set for release on October 21, includes claims that Spears exhibited concerning behavior during their marriage, such as standing in their children's doorway holding a knife while they slept. Spears has denied these allegations, emphasizing her dedication to her sons, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18. A representative for Spears stated that her primary concern is the well-being of her children and that she will not engage publicly with the book's claims to protect her relationship with them. Federline's memoir also discusses his perspective on the #FreeBritney movement and his experiences during their marriage. Spears and Federline were married in 2004 and divorced in 2007. Federline was granted full custody of their sons following Spears' hospitalization in 2008. In 2023, their children relocated to Hawaii with Federline. Spears' team plans to review the full memoir but intends to move on once it is released.
