President Trump Receives COVID-19 Booster and Flu Shot During Routine Health Check
President Donald Trump underwent a routine health examination at Walter Reed Medical Center, receiving both a COVID-19 booster and flu shot, with his physician reporting him in 'exceptional health.'
President Donald Trump underwent a routine health examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday, during which he received preventive health screenings and immunizations, including his annual influenza shot and an updated COVID-19 booster. His physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, reported that Trump remains in 'exceptional health,' demonstrating robust cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.
The visit, lasting approximately three hours, was part of Trump's ongoing health maintenance plan in preparation for upcoming international travel. Dr. Barbabella noted that Trump's 'cardiac age' is approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age of 79.
This examination follows a previous physical in April, which also declared Trump 'fully fit' to serve, highlighting a 20-pound weight loss and an active lifestyle.
In July, the White House disclosed that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common and manageable condition in older adults, following observations of leg swelling. The White House emphasized that the President's test results remain within normal limits and described his overall health as 'excellent.'
