Samsung to Roll Out One UI 8.5 Update to Eligible Galaxy Devices in 2026

Samsung is preparing to launch the One UI 8.5 update, built on Android 16, for its Galaxy devices. The rollout is expected to commence in early 2026, beginning with the debut of the Galaxy S26 series. Subsequently, the update will extend to various Galaxy smartphones and tablets released in prior years.

Devices slated to receive the One UI 8.5 update include the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy S24 FE, and other selected models.

The One UI 8.5 update is anticipated to introduce several new features and enhancements, such as advanced AI capabilities, improved customization options, and enhanced integration across devices.

Samsung has not yet announced an official beta program for One UI 8.5. However, based on the company's typical firmware strategy, a beta version could become available for select devices, like the Galaxy S25 series, in late 2025.

Users are encouraged to monitor official Samsung communications for detailed information on the update's availability and the specific features it will offer.
