Dorit Kemsley Accused of Excluding Estranged Husband from Children’s School Decisions

Summary

In court filings, PK Kemsley alleges that Dorit Kemsley has not communicated with him about their son’s schooling and has delegated parental duties to staff amid their divorce.

During their ongoing divorce, PK Kemsley filed a declaration accusing his estranged wife, Dorit Kemsley, of excluding him from decisions regarding their children’s education. He said Dorit’s "complete and intentional lack of communication and collaboration" on important matters, including school selection, was "shocking and disheartening."

"She continues to make decisions without involving me at all. I have no communication from [Dorit] about [our son's] school events unless [our son] himself tells me. I receive no information from her about school. I learned through the children, rather than from [Dorit], that he was going to his current school," PK wrote.

PK also criticized Dorit’s parenting approach, describing it as "parenting from afar" and noting that she has delegated daily responsibilities to a nanny and housekeeper. He claimed the nannies handle school pick-ups, meals, and other tasks. Dorit Kemsley has denied the allegations.

The filing was submitted shortly before the couple reached a partial financial settlement in their divorce.
