Report suggests Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson ended relationship over a year ago
Sources say the UNC football coach and his girlfriend separated more than a year ago, though staff members were unaware and Hudson continues to appear at games.
A report published on Oct. 30 indicates that Bill Belichick, 74, and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 25, ended their relationship more than a year ago, despite recent public appearances together. Two unnamed individuals within the North Carolina football office, including a senior staff member, said they had not been informed of the split.
According to the source, Hudson and Belichick remain "committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends," and Hudson has begun seeing other people. Hudson has been less visible in the program’s media coverage this season but has still attended games, including sidelines appearances against Notre Dame and East Tennessee State, and a high-school game with Belichick in September.
The couple’s last joint Instagram post showed them holding hands at Churchill Downs on May 2. Their relationship, which became public in 2024, began after they met on a flight in 2021. UNC’s football program is navigating other changes, with general manager Michael Lombardi resigning in September and Belichick’s son Steve stepping down as defensive coordinator while on medical leave. The team currently holds a 4-3 record in Belichick’s second season as head coach.
