Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff file for divorce after less than two years of marriage
Actress Margaret Qualley and musician Jack Antonoff have jointly filed for divorce in New York, ending a marriage that began in August 2023.
Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff filed for divorce on Friday, according to New York Supreme Court records obtained by Page Six. The filing lists Qualley as the plaintiff, but both parties submitted the petition together and a settlement agreement is now pending court approval.
The couple married in August 2023 after dating since the summer of 2021. Their relationship entered public view when Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding alone, prompting speculation about a split.
"We’re figuring this all out together. For what it’s worth, they’ve had a beautiful and loving relationship. Sometimes, these things just don’t work," a source said.
Sources described communication challenges, noting that Antonoff’s preference for handling matters his way sometimes left Qualley feeling unheard. Other reports indicated that busy schedules and distance contributed to the decision, and that the pair had attempted to work on the marriage in recent months.
Antonoff told "The Howard Stern Show" in April that performing songs about Qualley remains a "really beautiful" experience despite the separation.
The filing marks the end of a marriage that lasted less than two years, following a court-recorded settlement process.
