Savannah Chrisley announces engagement and pregnancy while defending age-gap relationship on podcast

Summary

Savannah Chrisley confirmed her engagement to Jason Galanis, disclosed her pregnancy, and addressed public criticism of their 27-year age difference during a recent episode of her Unlocked podcast.

Savannah Chrisley used Tuesday’s episode of her Unlocked podcast to announce her engagement to Jason Galanis and reveal that she is pregnant with their first child. The 29-year-old reality-TV personality said the couple, who have a 27-year age gap, plan to build a family together despite public scrutiny.

"Yes, there is a huge age gap there, OK? And that’s probably part of the reason why I kept a lot of it quiet, because I know how brutal the public can be. But I genuinely do not care," Chrisley said.

She described the relationship as supportive and collaborative, noting that they share dreams and work on projects together. Chrisley recalled Galanis’s proposal, emphasizing that he presented the ring without pressure and that timing was irrelevant to her.

"When he gave me the ring, he was like, ‘Before I open this, I just want you to know that this is just an expression of love to you. This can be whatever you want it to be… I just want you to know how much I love you,’" she recounted.

Chrisley also shared an Instagram post expressing gratitude for the pregnancy, describing it as a "sweetest blessing yet" and encouraging other women awaiting their own relationships.

"And to the woman still in her waiting season… please don’t mistake God’s silence for His absence," she wrote.

The episode referenced Galanis’s background, including a 2025 presidential commutation of his 189-month prison sentence for securities-fraud convictions and his prior testimony during a 2024 impeachment inquiry. Fox News Digital did not receive a comment from Chrisley’s representatives.
