Summary

Federal agents served a sealed search warrant at the Beverly Hills residence of billionaire Stephen Cloobeck on Tuesday, with no arrests reported, underscoring yet another dramatic display of power in an opaque investigation.

Federal authorities carried out a search warrant on Tuesday morning at a Beverly Hills mansion associated with billionaire businessman Stephen Cloobeck, once again putting an elite figure under the harsh glare of law enforcement scrutiny. The warrant, which remains sealed, was confirmed by an FBI spokesperson who declined to provide details about the investigation, leaving the public to wonder what officials are withholding. No arrests were expected at the location, according to FBI sources.

Video from outside the North Roxbury Drive property showed multiple FBI agents and yellow caution tape surrounding the home, a scene that only deepened the spectacle surrounding the case. Cloobeck, who previously supported former U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign, faced charges in April for attempting to influence witnesses in the criminal case against his former fiancée, model and influencer Adva Lavie, also known as "Mia Ventura." The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office charged Cloobeck with three felony counts of witness-tampering and one misdemeanor count for making "annoying telephone calls."

Lavie was charged with eight felonies in November 2025; a judge later dismissed two counts, and she pleaded not guilty to the remaining six in April. It remains unclear whether the Beverly Hills search is related to the ongoing investigation involving Lavie or to the earlier FBI actions concerning Swalwell, but the secrecy surrounding the matter invites more questions than answers.

Earlier in August, the FBI searched Swalwell’s Washington, D.C., residence and seized an electronic device, and also executed a warrant at San Francisco International Airport to collect Swalwell’s electronic equipment. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s sex-crimes unit is reportedly considering charges in a separate case involving Swalwell, adding yet another layer to an already tangled and deeply troubling series of allegations.
