Charlotte Flair Updates on Ric Flair's Condition After Fall

Summary

Charlotte Flair said her 77-year-old father, wrestling legend Ric Flair, is expected to recover after a fall in Tampa that caused facial injuries and follows a recent diagnosis of a blood clot.

Charlotte Flair posted on X on Friday that her father, 77-year-old WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, is expected to recover after a fall outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida. She referenced his past rivalry with The Ultimate Warrior while assuring fans that he "is going to be ok."

According to reports, Flair rose from a bar, crossed the street and then fell, sustaining cuts to his head and eye before being taken to a hospital by ambulance. The incident occurred shortly after Flair announced on social media that he had been diagnosed with a blood clot in his leg, which had limited his travel to three to four hours and forced him to cancel a scheduled appearance at Washington State Horror Con in Seattle.

"Unfortunately, I am dealing with a blood clot in my leg, and my doctors have limited my travel to 3–4 hours. Blood clots are extremely serious and can be life-threatening," Flair wrote.

He added that he is scheduled for a procedure to strip the affected vein, which doctors expect will enable him to travel more freely after recovery.
