Fantasy football sleepers to watch in Week 7 include Broncos QB Bo Nix and Jets TE Kenyon Sadiq

Summary

Analyst Raza Umerani highlights ten undervalued players, such as Broncos quarterback Bo Nix and Jets tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who could provide strong fantasy returns in Week 7.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to post low efficiency metrics, but remains the fantasy QB4 since Week 3 with 1,079 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Steelers are passing on 67.2% of dropbacks, the league's second-highest rate, which may benefit receivers like Germie Bernard, DK Metcalf and Jaylen Warren in the upcoming matchup against the Saints.

Bo Nix has struggled, posting the lowest air-yards-per-attempt (5.8) among qualified quarterbacks and failing to reach eight fantasy points in three starts. However, the Arizona Cardinals are allowing the highest fantasy points per dropback (0.65) since 2016 and rank fifth in yards allowed per attempt on downfield throws. Umerani suggests the current environment could enable Nix to exceed expectations.

Running back Alexander Perine is highlighted for his efficiency, leading the league among backs with at least 25 carries in yards per carry (4.1), success rate (37.0%) and rushes over expected (61.5%). He is presented as a more productive option than teammate Chase Brown, especially against a Broncos defense that yields the sixth-most points per game to running backs.

Wide receiver Jalen Concepcion, a first-round rookie, has seen limited production due to low air-yard numbers (6.4) and modest yards after catch (4.0). The Titans’ defense, which allows the sixth-most yards per attempt on short throws, could provide a favorable matchup for his breakout.

Wide receiver Jalin Noel, rostered in only 18.6% of ESPN leagues, ranks highly in several efficiency categories, including 19.4 yards per target and a 100% catch rate. Umerani recommends adding Noel to lineups where he remains available.

Jets tight end Kenyon Sadiq posted a 23.5-point performance in Week 3 but has been limited since a concussion in Week 5. His upside is considered matchup-dependent; a favorable game against the Lions, who allow the most points per game to tight ends, could revive his fantasy value.

Veteran tight end Mark Andrews has seen a decline, averaging 7.5 points per game, his lowest since his rookie season. A potential return of quarterback Lamar Jackson could improve his outlook, and the Bengals’ defense, which has allowed few points to tight ends, may present a scoring opportunity.

Defensive units that have produced double-digit fantasy points in recent weeks include the Vikings, Broncos and Browns, each ranking among the league’s best in points allowed, yards allowed and sack totals. The Titans and 49ers are also noted for their strong defensive performances, offering potential streaming options for fantasy managers.
