Sean "Diddy" Combs moved to general population at FCI Allenwood
The music executive, serving a 50-month sentence, was transferred from the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix to the Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood and placed in the general population.
Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is serving a 50-month federal prison term after being convicted on two prostitution-related charges in 2025, was transferred last week from the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to the Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood in Pennsylvania. According to a union secretary representing Bureau of Prisons employees, Combs is now housed in the general population at Allenwood, which holds about 1,000 inmates, compared with roughly 4,000 at Fort Dix.
"If this information is accurate, we're pleased to hear that Sean has returned to general population. His safety and well-being are always important to us, but we have no specific reason to believe he is at risk. We hope he can continue serving his time safely and without unnecessary disruption," said Juda Engelmayer, a spokesperson for Combs.
At Fort Dix, Combs spent nearly a year in the Special Housing Unit after accruing disciplinary violations that the prison reported included fighting and possession of contraband cell phones. During that period, he lost 41 days of good-time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges, according to sources.
A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson declined to comment on the specifics of Combs' housing or conditions, citing privacy, safety, and security considerations.
