Apple rolls out iOS 27.2 release candidate for iPhone

Apple has issued the first iOS 27.2 release candidate for iPhone, marking the final stage before a public rollout. The build follows several beta releases that introduced features such as Group FaceTime Dual Capture, additional Siri AI language support, Apple TV app profiles, and revised episode organization in Apple Podcasts.

Apple Music receives a new monochrome icon and a blue highlight for the active tab, replacing the previous red design. The Health app, which was briefly shown in earlier iOS 27.2 betas, was removed from the current candidate and is slated for a later update.

The company will monitor the release candidate for any issues that might require another build before the final version is distributed.
