Analysts Project Continued Revenue Growth for Nvidia Through 2030

Summary

Nvidia is expected to sustain strong revenue expansion as AI adoption broadens, with analysts forecasting significant increases in sales and market value over the next five years.

Nvidia's shares have risen sharply in recent years, driven by demand for its graphics processing units used in artificial-intelligence applications such as OpenAI's ChatGPT. The company now has a market capitalization of about $5.2 trillion.

For the first half of fiscal 2027, Nvidia reported revenue of $177.8 billion, a 96 percent increase from the same period a year earlier, and it projects fiscal third-quarter revenue of $108 billion, up 89 percent year over year. Analysts expect fiscal 2027 revenue to reach $411.6 billion, with earnings per share near $9.31.

"The number of chips we sell will double in 2027," CEO Jensen Huang told investors at a recent conference, adding that ongoing investment in AI infrastructure will support the growth.

Nvidia is expanding beyond data-center chips into "physical AI" applications, including robotics and automotive systems. The firm already supplies technology to companies such as Amazon and a Japanese national AI venture. Industry estimates suggest the physical AI market could generate roughly €430 billion in revenue by 2030.

Analysts also note a broader AI infrastructure opportunity valued at $3-$4 trillion for 2030. Revenue forecasts anticipate a 68 percent rise in fiscal 2028 and a further 30 percent increase in fiscal 2029, potentially reaching $900 billion. Assuming a modest 10 percent top-line growth in fiscal 2030 and 2031, revenue could exceed $1 trillion, which, at a reduced sales multiple, might lift Nvidia's market value to around $9.8 trillion. This scenario would more than double the value of a $10,000 investment made in the stock today.
