Sean "Diddy" Combs treated for head injury after inmate altercation at Fort Dix

Summary

Sean "Diddy" Combs was taken to a medical facility for a head injury following a reported fight with fellow inmate Christopher "Dudus" Coke at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.

Sean "Diddy" Combs was transported by ambulance to receive medical care after sustaining a head injury during an incident with fellow inmate Christopher "Dudus" Coke at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix on Oct. 9. The injury was described as non-life-threatening, and Combs returned to the prison before sunrise on Oct. 10.

According to sources cited by TMZ, the confrontation arose amid inmate frustration over reports that Combs had accessed special privileges and contraband while incarcerated. Prison officials reportedly conducted raids and confiscated cellphones, including those belonging to Coke, after the earlier reports.

Coke, a Jamaican drug lord serving a 23-year sentence since 2012, was identified as the other participant in the altercation. The circumstances of the fight have not been confirmed by prison officials.

Combs, who is serving a 50-month sentence after a 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, is scheduled for release on March 2, 2028. His spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said the primary concern was Combs' health and thanked those who offered support.
