Travis Kelce Reflects on Emotional Proposal to Taylor Swift
Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce discusses his emotional proposal to Taylor Swift and the team's upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce recently shared insights into his emotional proposal to pop star Taylor Swift. In an interview with Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, Kelce admitted his "palms were definitely sweating" during the proposal, adding, "I'm an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there." He expressed excitement about their future together, stating, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her."
Reflecting on their relationship, Kelce noted that Swift has brought "excitement and a joy for life that has made me a better man, made me a better person, and made me just that much more comfortable with who I am."
Kelce also addressed the Chiefs' upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Following a season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil, the team aims to avoid starting 0-2 for the first time since 2014. Kelce emphasized the need for leadership, saying, "I think the leaders on this team need to step up, and I'll be the first one to raise my hand and say that I'm the guy that needs to be that for us." He added, "Everybody just has to look in the mirror. And right now, we're in a good place to attack a good football team coming into Arrowhead."
The Chiefs are set to face the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 1:25 PM PDT.
