Collin Gosselin alleges mother misappropriated over $100,000 from family trust
The former reality-TV star says his mother, Kate Gosselin, withdrew more than $100,000 from a collective trust for him and his seven siblings.
Collin Gosselin, 22, said his mother, Kate Gosselin, took more than $100,000 from a trust that held earnings for him and his seven siblings. In an interview on October 13, he told Page Six that documentation shows the money was removed and used to furnish Kate’s North Carolina lake house.
"What I've seen so far is documentation that my mom has taken money from a collective trust of me and my siblings," Collin said. "She actually furnished her home in North Carolina, her lake house, with the money she took from me and my siblings. That should be out there."
Collin added that the paperwork indicates the amount taken was $100,000, and he believes the total may be higher. The claim follows the release of his memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood, and a recent People interview in which he reflected on his upbringing on the TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8 and its spin-off Kate Plus 8.
