Sean "Diddy" Combs Hospitalized After Head Injury While Incarcerated

Summary

Sean "Diddy" Combs was taken to a hospital from a federal prison in New Jersey for a non-life-threatening head injury and returned to custody later the same day.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, 56, was transported from the federal facility at Fort Dix, New Jersey, to a hospital on Saturday after sustaining a head injury, according to a report cited by the Los Angeles Times. The injury was described as non-life-threatening; Combs remained conscious and able to speak before being hospitalized and was back at the prison later that day, as reported by TMZ.

"We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances," a spokesperson for Combs said in a statement to Variety. "Sean's health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out."

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix following convictions on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in October 2025. Recent court orders required him to pay NBCUniversal $477,700 in legal fees after a defamation case related to a documentary was dismissed.

Earlier reporting indicated that Combs had previously faced disciplinary actions in the facility, resulting in a reduction of good-conduct time and a delayed release date now projected for March 2028.
