Travis Kelce celebrates birthday dinner with Taylor Swift in New York, outlines bye-week routine
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce described his 37th-birthday dinner with Taylor Swift at an Italian restaurant in Manhattan and said he will focus on workouts during the upcoming bye week.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce told listeners of the “New Heights” podcast that he marked his 37th birthday with a dinner at Torrisi, an Italian restaurant in New York City, where he and his wife enjoyed a variety of desserts, including an espresso-chocolate treat and yogurt. Kelce called the venue one of his favorite spots and said the evening was “a good day, a fun day… Got to hang with Tay.”
He noted that the Chiefs’ recent win over the Las Vegas Raiders helped make the birthday celebration enjoyable and added that a loss would have “ruined my birthday.” Kelce said he is not typically a big birthday celebrant but appreciated the support he received from friends and fans.
When asked about his plans for the upcoming bye week, Kelce said he intends to focus on working out, watch football and baseball, and enjoy other aspects of college and NFL life. He will return to the field for the Chiefs’ next game against the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 18.
"If I would have lost, it would have ruined my birthday for sure. … Losing ruins everyone’s life. That's the worst thing to ever go down," Kelce said during the interview.
The podcast also mentioned Swift’s attire for the night, describing a Saint Laurent leather jacket and a Simkhai dress, and Kelce’s own Louis Vuitton cardigan, but did not elaborate further on the clothing details.
