Teen son of reality TV star pleads not guilty to multiple felony sexual assault charges

Summary

Kroy Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, entered a not-guilty plea to seven felony charges related to an alleged sexual assault and remains under bond with restrictions.

Kroy Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of television personalities Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, pleaded not guilty to all seven felony charges filed against him, according to court documents filed by his attorney, Jason B. Sheffield. The charges stem from an alleged sexual assault that a female classmate reported to police, saying the incident occurred in April at a family changing room in a fitness center.

Police allege the teenager forced the victim's mouth onto his penis and digitally penetrated her vagina. The victim was examined at a hospital, where doctors did not find male DNA evidence in her mouth or vagina. Prosecutors later indicated that video files on the teen's phone purportedly show sexual activity with an underage relative.

The teenager was arrested in August, held for several weeks, and has since been released to his mother’s custody. His bond conditions prohibit contact with anyone under 16 years old, including his siblings, and waive a formal arraignment.

"We are prepared to vigorously defend our client and will contest the charges in court," said attorney Sheffield.

The case remains pending as it moves through the legal process.
