Apple rolls out third iOS 27.2 developer beta for iPhone
Apple has made the third developer beta of iOS 27.2 available, adding a redesigned Health app, expanded Siri language support and new Group FaceTime features.
Apple released the third developer beta of iOS 27.2 for iPhone, following the public launch of iOS 27 on September 14. The beta arrives after iOS 27.1, which was limited to the iPhone Duo foldable model.
The update introduces a redesigned Health app that was first shown at the iPhone 18 Pro event, a dual-capture mode for Group FaceTime, and expanded Siri AI language support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Additional changes include Apple TV app profiles on iPhone, a re-organized Apple Podcasts layout with a "New Episodes" section, and a subtle visual tweak to Apple Music labels.
Apple previously released Xcode 27.1 beta on September 18, adding a simulator for the iPhone Duo, and the first public iOS 27.2 beta was made available last month. The company says further details on new features will be covered in future beta roundups.
