Actor Jim Carrey wed his longtime partner Min Ah in a small ceremony in Los Angeles, marking his third marriage after previously being married twice.
Actor Jim Carrey, 64, married his girlfriend Min Ah in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, his representatives confirmed to Entertainment Weekly. The couple, first spotted together in 2022, had made their public debut at the César Awards in Paris on Feb. 26, where Carrey received an honorary award and acknowledged Ah in his acceptance speech.
"Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever," Carrey said, adding a tribute to Min Ah in French, "Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah."
Carrey, who has been married twice before—first to Melissa Womer (1987-1995) with whom he shares a daughter, Jane, and later to actress Lauren Holly (1996-1997)—had previously said he was unlikely to marry again. He expressed that view in a 2008 interview with Britain's Weekend Magazine and reiterated it on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show in 2014. The recent wedding suggests a change in that stance.
The actor's past relationships have included high-profile names such as Jenny McCarthy, Renée Zellweger, Linda Ronstadt and January Jones, but details of his current relationship have remained limited until now.
