Hayden Winks releases Week 4 fantasy RB rankings and projections
Fantasy analyst Hayden Winks posted his Week 4 running back rankings, highlighting Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson as top picks and providing projected total yards for 37 players.
Hayden Winks, the author of the weekly "Blueprint" column, released his fantasy football running back rankings for Week 4, noting that the list is updated through Sunday morning. He identified Carolina Panthers rookie Jahmyr Gibbs as the top-ranked back with a projected 135.5 total yards, citing the Panthers' weak run defense and recent allowance of high fantasy points to running backs. New Orleans Saints rookie Bijan Robinson follows at second place with a 132.5-yard projection, despite a neutral matchup against a Saints defense that has limited elite RB performances.
Kenneth Walker III (114.5 yards) and Jonathan Taylor (114.5 yards) round out the top four, each benefiting from favorable offensive situations and matchups. Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, James Cook and several other backs are listed with projected yardage ranging from 109.5 to 78.5 yards, accompanied by brief assessments of their usage, offensive roles and opponent defenses.
Winks emphasized that his rankings are based on film analysis, statistical charts and projected matchups, and he cautioned that early-week rankings may change as more information becomes available.
"The Blueprint is my weekly column and basically everything that I use to build out the most accurate rankings I can," Winks wrote.
The full list includes 37 running backs, each with a projected total yardage figure and a short commentary on their expected performance for the upcoming week.
