Elizabeth Holmes Announces New Posting Protocol Ahead of Documentary Release
Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes said future social media posts will be marked with her initials and clarified that unmarked posts are managed by her team, as a documentary about her life prepares for release.
Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes used the social media platform X on Sunday to announce a new labeling system for her messages. She said that any post written in her own words will carry the suffix “-EAH,” while posts without that marker are generated by the team that manages her account.
Holmes, who is serving an 11-year federal sentence for wire fraud and conspiracy, added that her partner Billy Evans helps oversee the account. She expressed gratitude for supporters and referenced a biblical passage, noting that “the truth will set you free.”
The statement comes weeks before the documentary You Can See Everything, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, is scheduled to open in theaters on Oct. 16. The film follows Holmes during the 34 days preceding her incarceration and has been rated R for language and graphic nudity.
ABC News previously reported that Holmes is expected to be transferred from a Texas prison to a halfway house in 2027.
