RAYE Says She and Michael B. Jordan Are Just Friends After Amusement Park Sightings
RAYE told reporters at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards that she and actor Michael B. Jordan are collaborating professionally and remain friends, denying romance rumors sparked by a recent Six Flags outing.
British singer-songwriter RAYE addressed speculation about a romantic link with actor Michael B. Jordan during interviews on the red carpet of the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. The two were seen together at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Aug. 7, which led to media reports of a possible relationship.
"No, we're just friends who like roller coasters," RAYE said in an interview with Extra, adding that the pair are "just lovely friends."
She also hinted at a joint professional project, noting that she cannot discuss details because of confidentiality agreements. In a separate conversation with Entertainment Tonight, she described the collaboration as "something nice" that they have been working on.
RAYE, who recently performed a medley of her hits and a George Michael cover at the ceremony, reiterated that she is focusing on her music and personal goals rather than seeking a relationship. She said she prefers to let love develop naturally and is not actively pursuing it.
The actor has kept his personal life private, with his most recent known relationship ending in 2022.
