Lenovo's new 15.3-inch Googlebook will be available from October 4 for $1,099.99, featuring an OLED display, Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor, up to 32 GB RAM and Wi-Fi 7, a $200 reduction from the price previously cited by Google.
Lenovo announced that its Googlebook 15 will go on sale on October 4 for $1,099.99, $200 less than the $1,299 price Google referenced at the recent launch event. The laptop is equipped with a 15.3-inch 2.8K OLED touch screen, Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor, and options for 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. It also includes a 70 Wh battery, a 5 MP webcam with a physical shutter, Dolby Atmos quad speakers, a fingerprint scanner, face-unlock, and the signature Glowbar.
Connectivity features comprise Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 port, HDMI 2.0 output and a headphone jack. Weighing 2.84 lb (1.29 kg), Lenovo describes the model as the lightest 15-inch laptop in its lineup. While the price remains above the $900 starting point of Acer's convertible Googlebook, the larger OLED display and premium specifications position it as a higher-end option in the first wave of Googlebooks.
