Prince Harry says Archie and Lilibet are happy after returning to UK school
Prince Harry told reporters that his children are settling well at their new school in Britain, after a brief earlier enrollment was ended due to security concerns.
Prince Harry said his children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, are enjoying their new school in the United Kingdom. In a September 25 interview with CTV, he noted that "the kids are happy in school" and that it has been "great to be back on British soil." He repeated a similar sentiment at a recent charity event promoting the Invictus Games, telling Hello! magazine that the family is "getting stuck into the work" and that the children are "in school" and "happy."
The children were withdrawn from their previous school in California after only two days because heavy traffic created security challenges. A spokesperson for the family said the decision was made after consulting with their security team and was not a reflection on the former school's quality of care. The family now lives farther from the new school, making the daily commute impractical and unsafe, according to sources familiar with the situation.
School officials have issued a reminder to parents to photograph only their own children, following a leak of Meghan Markle's phone number in a parents' WhatsApp group. The couple's return to the UK after several years in California was announced earlier this year.
